A new trailer for the upcoming Chainsaw Man anime adaptation, featuring a look at the show’s supporting cast as well as a sample of Kenshi Yonezu’s opening theme song “KICK BACK,” has been released.
Chainsaw Man will also have 12 ending songs, it has been confirmed. “Hawatari Nioku Senchi” by maximum the hormone, “Chu, Tayousei” by ano, “Fight Song” by Eve, “Deep Down” by Aimer, “Dainouteki na Rendezvous” by Kanaria, “In The Back Room” and syudou, “Violence” by QUEEN BEE, “Zanki” by ZUTOMAYO, “First Death” Maximal the Hormone also performs the insert song.
The supporting cast has also been revealed. Pochita is played by Shiori Izawa, Himeno by Mariya Ise, Kobeni Higashiyama by Karin Takahashi, Hirokazu Arai by Taku Yashiro, and Kishibe by Kenjiro Tsuda.
Chainsaw Man will be released in Japan on October 11th. It is based on Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Shueisha manga, which first appeared in 2018. The first instalment of the manga was published in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2019 to 2021. In July, the second instalment began serialisation on the Shonen Jump+ app and website. As of March 2021, there are 11 tankoubon volumes published under the Jump Comics banner.
